"Attending Pedro's walking tour of Rome was a fun experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the city with a local's insight. Pedro's knowledge of Rome was comprehensive, covering not only the historical significance of each spot but also adding interesting stories that brought each location to life. His sense of humor added a light-hearted and engaging touch, making the journey through Rome informative but also fun :) He also shared a list of personal recommendations for dining spots and cafes which was much appreciated! Grazie Pedro! Looking forward to the next tour!"

"Off the beaten track tour that opens up a different side of Romen history. Great value, Pedro is warm and friendly and full of information about Rome's history. He welcomes questions and is a great resource to make your trip to Rome the most it can be. Take all 3 tours!"

"Pedro is THE BEST! We came last year and did 2 of his 3 tours. Today, we surprised him by booking his final tour! We needed to complete the series because his tours are so great! Fun, small and filled with amazing information I would otherwise never heard before. BOOK and TIP because Pedro is the greatest and your new Roman friend! Only recommendation is that we receive of certificate for completing all 3 tours 😂😅😂"

About

Your local guide in Rome

Hi! My name is Pedro. I am from Brazil and I moved to Rome to study and pursue something in life (I am still figuring it out, may the gods bless me). I have a degree in Museology from my country and currently I am in Rome for a masters in Archaeology, in the University of Tor Vergata. My focus is Ancient History, especially Ancient Rome. I find many subjects interesting, especially iconography and its meaning. I have also taken part in excavations, one of them was inside the Roman Forum, a place that I really love. I have been giving tours since 2019 and have done thousands of them, either working for tour companies in the city or on my own. I do tours mostly in English, but they also happen in Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. On Airbnb, my walking tour experience has achieved a 4.97/5 score and more than 1.400 reviews. Now, I want to grow in different platforms. As a history enthusiast, I use my passion as fuel to share the local history with those that are looking for me in Rome, being myself, which is a personal commitment. Personal interests include cats, old stuff, sarcasm, books and silence.

What I offer

It is very simple. I offer a walk that covers many sites of Rome. It lasts about 2 hours and we don't go inside of any place that requires a ticket. 6 different itineraries are available in different periods and each itinerary has its own meeting point. You can see the details about each itinerary scrolling down the page. Everybody is welcome to join, even pets. However, in order to create a more personal experience, the group size is about 10 people. No rush and no overwhelming groups.

What to expect from it? Being honest: if you don't like history, if you don't like a certain amount of information all at once, I suggest you to not book. The pace is slow. I talk too much. This experience is offered by a guy that really likes history to other people equally interested. Alright?

Book it, you will not regret (I guess).

...and, please, make sure you read all the information about what I offer before contacting me. If so, include the answer to this question in your message: What's the color of Napoleon's white horse?
